MY NIGHTFALL LULLABY

...Sondre Lerche. i used to listen to him heaps back when i was away.. comforting me in times of loneliness.. and even just lulling me in times of aloneness. his music is so pretty and simple even in its complexities...
Down came the sky

**CHRISTMAS 2007**

Christmas Eve Party with Ong & Ong.. They hired one of those party photographers who screened the pictures onto our LCD monitor in the lobby as they are being taken... and instantly print pocket size ones out for every member in the picture! haha!





and this... This is Christmas Eve 2007 @ No.5 with an assortment of cousin, new friends, old friends, boyfriend, party packs, alcohol, & bad service. glad i got to spend some time with my cousin.. at least that's one family member for whats meant to be a heartwarming goodwill moment.






Just one year back.. I spent Christmas all alone in Melbourne, packing/packed and waiting to fly back to Singapore... In restrospect, I've only been back a mere year, but it feels more like 3. Plenty more experiences have been accumulated, and perhaps as a result, it feels like I've aged considerably too. One big cheer is having Kaelen around now.. he is just so charming and clever!

Well anyway, MERRY CHRISTMAS to all of you out there, and may it all be warm and fuzzy for you :):):)

YOU KNOW IT'S YESTERDAY ONCE MORE WHEN...

you turn the corner one day and find yourself tuning in to "oldies" of today, where the DJ starts off the program with taglines like "tunes for the young at heart" i.e. tunes for the not-so-young-other-than-perhaps-in-their-hearts. time to schedule a health check. oh hoho time to watch the cholesterol?? eating 2 eggs a day is no longer considered part of my healthy growing-up regime?? where am i! it seems like not so long ago when i had to put on a uniform to get to school..

well, it's not so bad really. i guess it's like collecting layers.. adding wryness to my smile.. growing to see how many more flavours of ice-cream can be created..

i played twinkle-twinkle little stars on the piano for my nephew this evening and that made me really happy in a very simple way.

soft kisses on a summer day, laughing all our cares away, just you and i ...

the monsters will just have to wait
another place familiar face
it was all bright, lights
eyes & skies

oh it's a rambly night.
